WELCOME TO BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS
Contra Costa College is proud of its long history of community and business involvement. The college has many partnerships with local businesses, community agencies and educational institutions which work together to serve our community and its citizens with educational opportunities. Contra Costa College provides educational opportunities, learning resources and career services and is able to expand its offerings with help of its business and cimmunity partners.
Local business leaders work with college career technical programs and serve as advisory board members ensuring that the college's career programs are providing the training students need to be successful in the work place.
The college also partners with West Contra Costa cities and schools to provide course offerings at locations that are convenient to its community members. This is done through the college's Community Education Department. CCC's El Cerrito Center, in partnership with El Cerrito High School, offers college courses on the ECHS brand new site. The City o Hercules is partnering with CCC to offer courses in Hercules starting in spring 2010. Community agencies, such as senior facilities and churches also serve as community locations for college course offerings.
