DEFINING YOUR STUDENT STATUS

New student: You have never been enrolled in any college.

New transfer student: You have attended some other college, but you have never enrolled before at Contra Costa College.

Returning student: You were previously enrolled at Contra Costa College, but not during the last fall or spring term.

Returning transfer student: You were previously enrolled at Contra Costa College, you attended another institution of higher learning, and you are now returning to CCC.

Concurrent student:  You are enrolled at CCC and high school at the same time.*

Continuing student: You were enrolled at CCC during the last fall or spring term.

Full-time student: You are enrolled in 12 or more units of credit.

Apprentice: You are indentured to the state and industry.
