Contra Costa College History
More new buildings opened in the 1970’s:
- the Medical Sciences Building (now called Health Sciences)
- the Bookstore (an addition to the SA Building)
- the Physical Sciences Annex & Planetarium
The college’s curriculum continued to change, too. Methods of instruction began to include audio-visual components; some courses were even offered via television. By the 1980's, the college had courses in ecology, non-destructive testing and data processing.
